CERES, California — In 2016, Joel Rodriguez opened an Instagram Page under the name “RDGZ Photography” after the purchase of a new Canon camera. This Instagram page was dedicated to capturing random pictures of objects, landscapes and people that resembled art and contemporary style. Shortly after this, Joel started making videos for his High School’s football games and School Events. This led to the creation of the “Rodriguez Brothers” studio. It was later renamed to A+J Studios after a close friend, Agustin Piza joined the team in 2017. A+J Studios dominated the local High School’s Photography and Video production campaigns. 

 

In 2018, A+J opened its doors to photography sessions to the public. Becoming a new small business in the City of Ceres. The 2020 Pandemic shifted many plans for the studios but the support of our customers and community was still strong. Although the A+J Studio and Ceres USD partnership abruptly ended, we persisted in developing our brand and identity. New clients such as DoorDash and Google Maps started with the initiative to help other businesses adapt to “the new normal” of online ordering marketing. 

 

January 2021 saw the departure of Agustin and the A+J Studios Brand. A new name was needed and it was “Aesthetic Photography Studios”. Aesthetic was chosen after the definition of the word (Pleasing to the eye) matched our standards. New partnerships with the City of Ceres, Mayor Javier Lopez and other local businesses started. It was a fresh and vibrant start. Our operations now span all of Northern California, Parts of Southern California, Jalisco and Northern Michoacan, Mexico. 

 

2023 was the start of something new with the start of Marketing, Social Media Management and website building. We have hired 3 staff members to our team since then to allow the studio to expand. Joel is now the head of Strategy and Design for many businesses and Political Campaigns. Our original Canon Camera from 2016 is still operational and used for training and motivation for others to pursue their artistic dreams. Aesthetic Studios has made many generous donations to causes that make positive changes for youth in the arts and digital media. 

 

The future is looking very promising for us. We continue to look for new staff to expand our operations and reach. The introduction of AI has been a great tool for our team, brand new equipment and software programs have proved that we can achieve new Services for our community.
